Risen Indeed

The Lord is risen indeed!

Then justice asks no more;

Mercy and truth are now agreed,

Which stood opposed before.

The Lord is risen indeed!

Then all His words performed;

The captive Surety now is freed,

And death, our foe, disarmed.

The Lord is risen indeed!

He lives to die no more;

He lives, His people’s cause to plead,

Whose curse and shame He bore.

The Lord is risen indeed!

And hell has lost its prey;

And with Him all the ransomed seed

Shall reign in endless day.

Happy Easter from our family to yours!

Eye of the Beholder

She looks pretty innocent up there, right?

Well, I don’t think her brother stuck below would agree!

Merry-Go-Round

You don’t really understand human nature
unless you know why a child on a merry-go-round
will wave at his parents every time around-
and why his parents will always wave back.

Belly Dancing

Nothing

Words that strike fear (or at least, trepidation) into every mother’s heart, especially when paired with two mischievous smiles:

Child 1: “Mom, we were doing NOTHING.”

Child 2: “Yup, NOTHING.”

Yikes!

Here are the girls plotting.  I still don’t know what they were doing!

(Yes, that’s a bandage on Susie’s forehead.  Some all-in-good-fun sisterly roughhousing got out of control!).

Conference Time

We had a great time at a church conference this weekend, hearing edifying ministry and fellowshipping with beloved saints.  I always leave conferences feeling so thankful for the body of Christ.

Jimmy always leaves conferences feeling so thankful for his bed!

Look, Ma!

Danny: “Look, Ma!  I’m using my hands!”

Stocking Feet

An old friend just sent me these outfits her twin girls had outgrown.  My girls were thrilled, especially with the tights that had built-in socks.  Oh the things that make them happy!
