Adventure Days

The boys thought wearing their “adventure hats” was in order.  Life’s an adventure around here!

Off-Roading

I took the boys to a new hiking trail.  It wasn’t exactly bicycle-friendly, but that didn’t stop the boys.  They considered it their off-roading adventure!

Memorial Day Weekend

We kicked off boating season with a quick family outing Friday night and a wonderful day on the lake with friends on Monday.

We’re thankful our friends don’t mind being covered in blankets and kids!

(And we’re also thankful they let our kids sit in their cool new cars!)

Paint the Town

On a whim, I bought the girls supplies to make little “fairy houses” to put in galvanized buckets in our yard (there are lots of ideas on Pinterest).  The girls got right to work decorating their houses.

Jimmy got right to work decorating some paper as his own craft…I’m thinking I should have been more vigilant in overseeing his painting process!

My Bushmen

Apparently it’s much more fun to play in the bushes at the park than on the expensive equipment!

Congratulations!

Eeek!  I’m excited to announce my little sister is getting married!  The kids are very excited to be gaining an “Uncle Kevin”!

Sprinkles

We have had an unusually dry Spring, so we’ve resorted to sprinklers to help along our newly-planted grass.  No complaints from the kids!

Here’s the Dirt

I don’t think my kids ever enjoyed our backyard more than they did when we supplied them with very large mounds of dirt!
