Double Trouble

Who knows what these hooligans were planning to do with these chairs at the top of the stairs…maybe it was just a scenic spot to brush their teeth?

Goodbye, Training Wheels

The long-awaited day is here!  We officially have a two-wheel-bike-rider in the family!  And it’s the 3 1/2 year old!

That Stinker

Most people are grossed out by so-called “stink bugs.”  My son wants it as a pet!

Getting Hitched

The boys have been obsessed with trying to “tow” the boat trailer with various bikes and toys.  Whenever they go outside, I catch them fiddling with the tow hooks, trying to figure out some way to hitch up their bikes.  Good thing we have such a heavy boat, or else I’m sure the boys would have figured out a way to trailer it down the driveway by themselves!

Fleeced

My mom sent the kids new fleece pajamas for the season, which the kids immediately changed into (mid-day!).  I tried to get them to pose for a group photo in their darling new jammies, but this was the best I could do!

If It Ain’t Broke, Fix It Anyway

Danny will have this ride-on four-wheeler fixed up in no time!  (Irregardless of the fact it was not in need of repair.  It’s always a good time to use tools in Danny’s world!)

Farm Day

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending a “Farm Day” with our friends at a nearby farm where the kids got to pet animals, explore tractors, take a hay ride, and complete a fun scavenger hunt.  It was a gorgeous fall day in a gorgeous location!

Shorn

This post is over a month late, but I wanted to document Jimmy’s first at-home haircut, courtesy of his brave dad.  Jim (my husband) had bought electric clippers years ago in the hopes that I could trim his hair, but I never had the nerve.  So I was very glad when Jim volunteered to put those clippers to use on our mop-headed son!
