Full Crib

It’s hard to spot them all in between the toys, but there are four kids in this crib!

New Friends

We were blessed to have a wonderful preacher and his wife stay with us for a few days last week.  They were an amazing couple who blessed us immensely with their presence.  It’s always fun to have company who doesn’t mind crazy kids running around!  I hope it won’t be long before we can see Phil and Rachel again.  They will be missed!

New and Improved

My sister got the girls “Pillow Pets” over two years ago, and they remain their most treasured toys.  And now, their most decorated!

Hooray!

The girls are back home!!  I’m very happy to have everyone under the same roof. Smile

Street Sweeper

You may have heard of distracted driving, or driving while texting…

…now you’ve seen a case of driving while sweeping!

Evening Stroll

What do you do when you have one crying infant who refuses to nap, one squirmy toddler who refuses to sit still, and one tired mama who doesn’t want to make dinner?

Why, you go to the mall, of course!

I dragged the boys out to the mall this evening to take advantage of the food court and a change of scenery.  I know shopping isn’t exactly Jimmy’s cup of tea, so I made sure I detoured past the lawncare display for his sake.

I also detoured past Starbucks for my sake (Danny came along for the ride)!

So Glad

I’m so glad I’ve gotten to spend more one-on-one time with Jimmy.  He keeps me smiling – and running (the child never stops)!

Missing Them

Have you ever gone out and left your purse or wallet at home, and couldn’t get used to the feeling that something was missing?  Something just wasn’t right?  Well, I’ve had that feeling a lot the last few days, and it’s not because I’m missing my diaper bag.  I’m missing my girls!  They boarded a flight last Friday with Jim’s parents and flew out to visit their cousins in Arizona.  So it’s just the boys and me at home.  I’m trying to look on the bright side, remembering that the girls are having a wonderful vacation and I can use this time to concentrate more on the boys (and get more done – it’s amazing how much more I can accomplish with only two kids in the house!).  But I’m sure looking forward to when all my kiddos are together again!
