Tazie’s been asking to go skiing with the big kids for an entire year, and today, she finally made her ski debut! She did great!

Tazie loves to be in the kitchen, even if it involves dishes. Here she is giving her Polly Pocket a scrubbing for good measure!
Well, Jim continues to prove he’s the best dad ever! He worked hard around the house all day last Saturday and then found the energy to make the long drive with four excited kiddos to hit the ski slopes for the first time this season. The kids were all pleasantly surprised they hadn’t lost too many skills over the last year. I stayed at home with Tazie, nice and warm and cozy, and we were all happy!
Looks like Summer is planning her next move…or her next meal. 😉
Kids are still playing nonstop with a few of their Christmas presents, including these Speks magnetic beads. They’re great for fidgety fingers!
Who needs in-person gym class when you have an in-person Jim class? 😉 Here’s Daddy running the kids through his exercises!
The boys have taken it upon themselves to train Tazie in the art of football. She’s a very enthusiastic student!
I’m all for the training, since the busier they keep her, the less time she’ll have for shenanigans! For instance, coming upstairs like this and informing me she’s “wearing her long underwear.” 😉
Tazie LOVES being in the kitchen with me, helping me with any recipe I’m working on. She even told me her latest career aspiration is to be a cook. I have no doubt she’d make a great one! She already makes a great pot of Kraft macaroni and cheese ;). Here’s the camera-shy chef:

Danny and Pappy successfully assembled his Christmas gift – a V8 engine model!
Becky finally gets to cuddle next to a dog while reading a book. Dreams do come true!
