Like Mother, Like Daughter May 8, 2013, at 10:15 pm | As a young girl, I remember loving a clean room and spending a lot of time picking up and organizing my belongings (where’s that energy now when I need it?). I also distinctly remember being inspired by a certain Berenstain Bears book to keep my room clean. Guess what book the girls recently chose from the library?
And no sooner had I finished reading it to Susie than she looked around, declared her room to be too messy, and asked for boxes (from Costco, specifically) to organize her stuff. I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! Now I can only hope that Susie sticks with it longer than I did!

You stuck with it plenty long! We can only hope Susie sticks with staying neat and organized for nearly half as long as you, dear sister! I SO remember loving that book! That one and the nail biting one, although apparently neither made enough of an impact on me 😉
