For Jimmy’s birthday, we did a Spiderman/Despicable Me/Mama-was-too-disorganized-to-pick-a-coherent-theme, and it was so much fun! Here’s the extent of my decorating:

Paper masks provided all the fun and games we needed!

Well, masks and a minion:

How many men does it take to hang a minion?

The kids were all enthusiastic minion-manglers:

The merrily mangled minion:

Jimmy and the cute Costco cake he’s been pining for all year:

And since it didn’t even cross my mind to buy candles, we improvised. It was a very sparkly event!

And the gifts! Oh, the gifts! Both sets of grandparents were very generous, so Jimmy was awash in more toys than you could shake a stick at. Or shake a brother at:

Including his very own “big boy bike” that he proceeded to expertly pedal around the house for the remainder of the evening:

We all had a great time, especially the girls, since some of their favorite people were there!

Hooray for celebrations filled with bright balloons, great friends, and kids who are growing up too fast!

The party was so very fun! Thanks for letting
us help celebrate big boy Jimmy!!!
