Here are some of my favorite memories from our trip:
Having the kids entertain themselves at Pizzeria Uno’s amazing outdoor play area. Why doesn’t every restaurant offer a giant pirate ship and elephant for my children’s amusement?
Spending quality time with Grammie and Grandpa:
Learning to fish, starting with stringing the lines to baiting the hooks with real worms and eventually catching a fish!:
Watching the girls play with their new Frozen dolls (and sporting braids that only Grammie can do):
Laughing at my husband making use of the two scooters our kids tired of riding:
Zooming down a mountain coaster and mining for rocks at The Wisp (while Danny napped in Aunt Sharyn’s arms):
Boating to Lakeside Creamery, no matter how rainy or dark!
Having the girls pick out their own beautiful stones at a souvenir shop:
Kissing the lake goodbye:
Enjoying a jaunt to Cabela’s on the way to and from Maryland, which helped the kids get their wiggles out:
We all can’t wait to go back!
