Our gracious Pennsylvania hosts over New Year’s were our dear friends Ron and Tiffany. Their three boys and our kids got along so well Tiff and I were able to hang out and relax together (well, relax as much as you can with seven kids under one roof!).
Our families went bowling:
Went to Red Robin (here are the kids playing Becky’s new favorite pastime, the “the dots and boxes game”):
They jumped on the new trampoline for a few minutes until they were frozen solid:
Introduced the girls to the world of video games (they were enthusiastic learners):

Although Danny was also perfectly content to entertain himself with Gavin and Mason’s extensive Hotwheels collection:
Our road trips were blessedly uneventful, thanks to Jim’s impeccable driving and the kids unending attention span for DVDs (interspersed with some sibling giggling): 
It was a great start to the year!
