California Pics 1 April 26, 2018, at 10:20 pm | The kids were so excited to finally be at my parents’ house after a long day of traveling. The boys barely remember being there, as they only had a brief visit for my sister’s wedding two years ago, and otherwise hadn’t been since Danny was a baby. So we had lots of bonding to do, especially with Grammie’s cats – Lucy and Ethel!
And of course, some BBQ-ing to do with Grandpa:
We even got to have a picnic inside what will soon be the new addition:
And they had to sign their names for posterity’s sake!
 
I just love getting to see my kids relax with their grandparents at their house! I’ve been thinking lately about my amazing memories of times my sister and I spent at our grandparents’ houses, and I’m so thankful that my kids get to make those memories too.
