And I had to include this last picture of Susie and Jimmy reading the comics from Grammie and Grandpa’s newspaper.  Growing up, my sister and I read the comics EVERY morning with breakfast – we’d prop them up on the cereal boxes between us and read away.  And I realized that my kids never read newspaper comics now because we don’t get a newspaper!  We check out graphic novels from the library, but they never get to read the short, humorous ones.  I was surprised at how many of the comic strips are ongoing from my youth.  We may need you to send us out the Sunday comics once you’re done with them, Grammie and Grandpa! 🙂
