I just can’t get over what a great help Jimmy is around the house. He has such a heart for service (at least, until he’s distracted by something better)!

Who needs to pay for a massage chair at the mall, when just sitting in the chairs is relaxing?!
We’ve been having a fantastic time with our Arizona cousins ever since we got back from vacation. It’s been like Christmas every day with them here! I love Becky’s latest picture! It’s of a girl kneeling on her bed, looking out at the night sky. Her curtain is filled with flowers and vines. Such a great moment! This was the boys’ contribution to helping us back for our Ocean City vacation – insisting on unfolding every single beach chair we own!
And last but not least, the rides! The stuff that children’s dreams are made of – or at least, my children’s dreams. Becky solidified her role as the daredevil extroardinare, conquering the scariest grown-up ride in the park (the sky-high Double Shot – see the video below), Susie got much bolder, Jimmy was finally tall enough to go on some big kid rides, and Danny even squeaked his way onto a high-flying kite ride. Each night we hit the rides was a perfect way to end the day!
We usually spend most of our time at the Jersey shore doing the same wonderful activities every year – the boardwalk, the beach, the rides, repeat. This year, however, we added an extra outing that turned out to be a great addition – the zoo! |
