Chubby Bunny

What is about chubby baby legs that make me turn to goo inside?

I just love them! (And the kid they’re attached to!)

Sibling Sentiments

One of my favorite parts of parenting right now is watching my girls and boys interact.

The girls absolutely adore Danny because he’s soft and squishy and doesn’t steal their stuff:

Danny absolutely adores his brother because he’s big and squishy and steals everything:

And Jimmy absolutely adores his sisters, who aren’t very squishy but who do really cool stuff.  He wants to do EVERYTHING his sisters do.  I mean everything:

Jimmy giggles when they laugh, scampers when they run, scribbles when they color, spins when they dance…it’s hilarious and heartwarming for me to watch them grow up together.

I’m so thankful I have them, and I’m so thankful they have each other.

Messy Moments

Reason #205 that I love my hand-vacuum:

Jimmy is a little overzealous when helping me measure out the rice.

Do you know how much mess one overturned cup of rice makes? Good thing he loves to vacuum!

Jump Away

It’s funny how old toys become new again once someone else is enjoying them.  I brought a hand-me-down “jumperoo” toy out of our basement recently, and Danny’s had to fight for a spot!  Good thing the thing is well-built; it’s getting pushed to its limits by some bouncy big kids!

Here’s the intended user:

And here are the interlopers!

My Little Chef

He’s not tied to mama’s apron strings – he’s got his own (or rather, his sister’s)!

Picture Perfect

Becky’s dragon (she had some assistance with her letter “G,” but otherwise she did it herself!):

Susie’s self-portrait:

When I asked Susie what it was, she answered matter-of-factly: “Me as a dog.”

All Boy

This kid is all boy.  He wanted his hat, his ball, and his plane with him at all times the other day.

But then again, he does like to sport his sisters’ sunglasses from time to time.  Hey, it’s not his fault I’ve yet to buy him his own pair!

Danny’s excuse?  Well, his mama just wanted a laugh!

Three Bugs under Rugs

Where’d my kiddos go?

Peek-a-boo!

“Aren’t I stealthy?”

You Get What You Ask For

What do you get when you ask your 4-year-old to help your almost-2-year-old wash his hands?

Nothing clean, I’m afraid!

It’s Time

You know it’s time to take your kids to an aquarium when they start squealing with excitement at seeing the lobsters in the grocery store!
