Cake Pops

It seems like only yesterday I was introducing the girls to Starbucks’ cake pops.  Now the boys are happy to be passed the torch…or make that the stick. 🙂

Bike Park

We’ve been spending a lot of time at a local park where the kids can practice riding their bikes (with training wheels). Our pace is awfully slow since Danny likes to poke at ants and gape at airplanes, but we all enjoy being outside, especially with our friends!

A Girl and Her Fluffy

When my sister went to Peru last year, she brought the girls stuffed animals made from real llama fur.  Susie has sworn her undying love to the toy, and announced to me the other day that she was going to bring it to her new house when she gets married, and to the hospital when she has babies.

So Aunt Angie, you’re going to have to try really hard the next time you travel internationally if you want to top that gift.  Maybe you need to fly to Australia and bring us back some pet koalas!

Play Day

The girls had “Play Day” at their school last week (which I guess is along the lines of what I called Field Day).  They had all sorts of outdoor games, including one I think sounds great: You play duck-duck-goose, only when it’s time to choose the goose, you hold a wet sponge over their head and soak them!

Here they are, ready for action!
