I’d have to say my favorite day of our vacation was the day we spent at Magic Kingdom. It was just perfect – the weather wasn’t too hot or cold, the crowds were manageable (for the most part – I wasn’t about to wait in line for 90 minutes to meet Elsa and Anna, no matter how happy it would have made the girls!), the kids were well-behaved (especially after my wonderful husband and father-in-law took the tuckered-out little boys home mid-day!), and we got to do a great mix of rides and character greetings.
Here we are entering the Magic Kingdom. I was definitely as excited as the kids, if not more!
The tram ride from the parking lot to the ferry:
We started off by meeting Tinkerbell:
Alli was an amazing help all day!
Jim took Jimmy and Becky on the Thunder Mountain Railroad roller coaster. I wasn’t sure how Jimmy would do, since he’s only ever done pretty dinky rides, but he had a lot of fun (Becky loved it, too, although the fast-paced Space Mountain later on was more her speed!):
Meanwhile, I took the non-roller-coaster kids to the Swiss Family tree house and a gift shop for some sword play:
We loved the new interactive Enchanted Tales with Belle, where the kids recreate scenes with princess Belle. Becky was Papa Maurice, Susie was a horse, and the boys were dinner plates (oh – and my husband was chosen to be a knight in shining armor – very fitting!):
Here’s my “knight” taking Danny on the Buzz Lightyear ride:
Meeting Buzz:
More Disney to come!
Great pictures Em! I am enjoying seeing different days each day 🙂
