Since I don’t think I’m going to be the type of mom who carefully archives her kids’ artwork for posterity, I guess I’d better snap a few pictures of the girls’ current creations for memory’s sake. I’m not surprised their drawings have come a long way in the past few months, given that its their favorite pastime. No activity (other than TV, of course!) holds their attention for as long as a tub of crayons and paper. They’ve gotten away from strictly using coloring books, and are now mostly sketching free-form on blank paper. Seeing their drawings gives me a little window into their minds, and I can assure you that their minds are pretty much filled with princesses!
Susie’s depiction of her Bubba and Pappy holding the girls on their laps:
Becky’s rendering of her cousins Jon and Kate, as well as their parents (she is pointing out that she made her uncle a “baby princess” up in the right-hand corner). The girls are going to put royalty into our family one way or another!
Priceless!
She definitely captured the likeness of Buba’s eyes and hair…lol….love it…..your blog is priceless….Jimmy is a doll..only 8:50 and I ere the 4 wheeler running in the yard with my grandson riding…you will e next…get ready….lol
