We spent a wonderful weekend attending a nearby church conference. Every year these conferences get a little easier as the kids get older; so much so that I even got to listen to a bit of the ministry while the girls were busily working on their new Frozen coloring books, Danny was sleeping in his Bubba’s arms, and Jimmy was digging through my purse for something to distract him. It’s just a wonderful experience to be surrounded by so many fellow saints, especially ones who we don’t get to see as often as we would like. After today’s meetings, we took advantage of the warm spring evening and went for a stroll. We weren’t dressed in ideal walking gear since we were all still in our church clothes, but it was so nice to be outside, I didn’t mind having to scrub dirt off of the boys’ dress pants!
