We hit the water for our first extended boating trip today (as opposed to our last sweatshirt-clad, lets-make-sure-the-boat-floats quick trip last time). It was a gorgeous day, and we were blessed to spend it with wonderful friends. We’re thankful for the sacrifice so many men, women and families have made so that we can spend our days in freedom.
Danny’s little buddy Breton was down from Boston for the day and even though Danny has a bit of work to do on his hospitality (he typically hollered in outrage anytime Breton came within three feet of him), we made some progress!
Here is Breton with a peace offering, Danny considering accepting (although he ultimately declined), Danny acknowledging him by blowing a “kiss,” and Breton responding with a sweet “high five.” We have faith that these guys will be true friends in no time!
