Together At Last

The restrictions from the Covid pandemic negatively impacted our family less than most, as we were overall pretty content to stay home and hang out together for the last year.  The kids especially have loved remote schooling!  But the one thing that has been very difficult through the lockdown has been not seeing long-distance loved ones.  We hadn’t seen my parents since December 2019 and we were all anxious to be together again.  So as soon as my parents were fully vaccinated, they hopped on an eastbound flight to visit my sister and her (growing!) family in Virginia, and then came up North to spend time with us here.  It was such a lovely week!  I’ve got loads of pictures to share – mostly of Grammie reading books and doing crafts with the kids, which is what she does best! 🙂  We can’t thank my parents enough for making this reunion happen!
