My Faith and Joy… and Boys!

Susie (on right): “You go first, Katelyn.  I need to work on my form.” 

Becky: “I’ve got my form down.  It’s just the ball that needs to get with the program.” 

Susie: “Why would I putt around the treasure chest when I could just go straight for the gold?” 

Susie: “I’m feeling a little crabby.”

Becky: “I’m practicing the art of removing the flag.”

Becky: “Now I’m practicing a shortcut to a hole in one.”  

Susie: “We’ll just stick with modeling instead of golfing for now.” 

Jonathan: “You girls need to learn how to take this sport seriously.  Next time I’m making you my caddies!”     

We just got back from a wonderful week at our favorite vacation spot, Ocean City, New Jersey.  I’m still going through all the pictures, but I’ll leave you with these images that sum up our time there.

Dad, remember all your comments about those ice cream parlor pictures I posted last summer featuring a pink bench?

Well, the bench has been replaced by some colorful Adirondack chairs, but the ice cream is still just as yummy!

Jim’s still plugging away at the swing set in the back yard.  It’s quite a bit more advanced than the pictures below – he’s made some great progress in the past few weekends.  I’m still not sure whether the girls’ eager insistence on being outside with him while he works is a help or a hindrance, but it keeps them all busy!

The girls may be too big for their old infant car seat, but that doesn’t stop them from trying it on for size!
