I have two kindergarteners. I still can’t believe it. Weren’t they just this big?
And now they’re bounding on the bus, with no hesitation, fears or apparent nervousness, to go off into the wide new world of school. When they got off the bus today, the first words out of Becky’s mouth were: “I had SO MUCH FUN!” and Susie squealed, “We made so many new friends!”
Here they are, for their first bus ride:
And here they are in their classroom (I took this picture at the orientation yesterday):
I copied this idea on Pinterest to record the girls’ answers to a questionnaire so I could compare how their answers change over time.
I took them out to a celebratory lunch yesterday after the orientation. They sat on stools on either side of me. I can’t get over how grown-up they are!
What precious pictures..ones that you will cherish forever!
I agree; weren’t they newborns just two weeks ago?
what lovely young ladies they are! May they always love school as much as their Mom did!
Love,
Grammie
Can’t believe I have been following your beautiful family for so long, that now you have 2 in kindergarten! Beautiful pictures!
